BioI'm a high school teacher turned stay-at-home writer. My YA novel, THE REVENANT, debuts in 2011 from Knopf. In the meantime, I keep writing. I'm very fortunate to be represented by Jennifer Laughran of the Andrea Brown Literary Agency.
I watch way too much TV (see my interests below).
I love nineteenth century art and literature (Austen and Bronte), English cozy mysteries, medieval art/history/literature, Arthurian legends, Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Dorothy Sayers, Guy Gavriel Kay, L.M. Montgomery, Sarah Waters, etc. (I'll add more as they occur to me.)
I'm also obsessed with tea and the ritual of afternoon tea. I have a hobby of searching out new tearooms, and it's especially nice when my tea-loving pals can join me!
